Time Travel

Time... It is like a river, where water flows at different speeds at different points.. here time flows at different rates at different places in the universe.

Travel?? Most of us really love travelling.. like taking your car out... Putting on loud music...Going for a long drive. But to travel in time, you have to know what 4th dimension is....

  Yeah! You got on your car, Suppose you are going straight i.e., you are traveling in a straight line, in this case you are travelling in one dimension. After some time you turn to left or right.. in this case you are traveling both forwards and sideways.. i.e., you are travelling in 2 dimensions. Now you are going up a hill and turning to your left or right... In this case you are going upwards, forwards, and sideways i.e., in 3 dimensions. "But to travel in time... You have to travel in the fourth dimension."

According to Stephen Hawking's Theory... Oh! today is Hawking's  75th birthday.. Happy birthday Stephen Hawking... Oh yeah.. according to his theory ( everyone call it "The theory of everything") ..... Everything in the world has wrinkles and holes... Example The screen of the phone or computer that you are looking at.. it looks smooth but if you have a close look at it like in the microscopic level.. you will be able to see some wrinkles and holes .... And the birthday boy. Hawking says time has got holes and wrinkles too!!
He also says worm holes are all around us in this gigantic universe. For those who don't know what a wormhole is... Just like that bald guy says in the movie interstellar... Take a paper, mark 2 dots on a paper now the shortest distance between them is a straight line of some magnitude. But what if you could just fold that paper?.
 Yes that's what a wormhole do. It folds time and space where we can travel from one place to other or one time to other in an instant.

A Relation between time and mass:-

There is no mathematical proof to this statement but I'm gonna tell a statement and give an experimental proof to the statement,

"TIME IS DIRECTLY PROPORTIONAL TO MASS" (given, v<c)
Where v is velocity of the body
             C is velocity of light
But according to basic laws of physics.. nothing in the universe can exceed the speed of light.
Now, the experimental proof,
The clocks on the satelites run faster than the clocks on the earth (7200 nano seconds to be exact) and this is called as relativity folks it is a big  topic I'll include that in my future posts....
  Because of that time difference the GPS should actually be wrong but they are installed in such a way that they'd reduce there time by 7200 nano seconds everyday...Thanks to Einstein for that because that 7200 nano seconds could make a lot of difference in positioning.

As we finished all the required basics... Now we'll see the humans will travel in time or not....

I'm going to say 3 possible ways....

Using a Wormhole:-

Assume that humans will reach the peaks of technology and scientists could prepare a wormhole in the laboratory..... And they'll place the wormhole in such a way that both ends of the wormhole are at same place but are at different time. Like one end of the wormhole is in 1960's and other end in distant future but in the same place. This is one possible way to travel in time.

Entering the orbit of a blackhole:-

 As time is directly proportional to mass... And black hole has a huge amount of mass(crushed into singularity though).. when we enter into the orbit of a blackhole.. time slows down drastically.

This is another way to travel in time.

Obtaining the speed of light :-

Suppose we built a space vehicle that could travel in the speed of light and it has passengers in it. The space vehicle has started its journey. Now imagine.. a passenger moves from one end of the space vehicle to another end. Then his speed would be v+c. But according to the laws of physics nothing can exceed the speed of light... So the time in the space vehicle is slowed down drastically.
 This is also a possibility to travel in time.

Now, Why travelling back in time impossible

"Time is relative. It can stretch, It can squeeze.. It can't run backwards. Just can't. The only thing that can move across dimensions like time, is gravity"

For time to run backwards, first it should stop going forward. For time to stop mass of the body must be infinite. Where infinite mass cannot exist in the universe.. time cannot stop and hence cannot run backwards.

Experimental proof:- Once Stephen Hawking conducted an expirement, he spread an invitation which says,









 Where he ends up with no guests. So we can expect in future humans will never travel backwards in time.
